Oh。 My。 God。 Unreal。 This book was so much better than the first。 Everything about it was incredible。 The character development， the tension， the characters， the descriptions， the plot （which is way better than the first book）， literally every part was so perfect。 I don’t think I can put into concise， eloquent words how breathtaking this book is。 Literally。 I think I stopped breathing multiple times。 My breath was literally STOLEN from me when reading。 Dramatic but true。 And the ending？！？！ You’r Oh。 My。 God。 Unreal。 This book was so much better than the first。 Everything about it was incredible。 The character development， the tension， the characters， the descriptions， the plot （which is way better than the first book）， literally every part was so perfect。 I don’t think I can put into concise， eloquent words how breathtaking this book is。 Literally。 I think I stopped breathing multiple times。 My breath was literally STOLEN from me when reading。 Dramatic but true。 And the ending？！？！ You’re kidding me， how freaking crazy。 I can’t write more than this because whatever slew of words I come up with next will just be more praise with not so helpful vague descriptions。 Maybe I’ll add more to this later when my breathing comes back to me and my heart starts working again。 。。。more

DeadSo after being told multiple times I needed to read this series I finally picked up book one。 It was an awesome read。 However， book 2 just took me to a whole new place。 I loved it so much and could not put it down。 I think I died and now have to read book 3 ASAP！

Wow。 Just wow。 I love how Sarah J。 Maas writes about difficult life aspects。 The two aspects that really spoke to me was the mental health aspect and the domestic abuse aspect。 Tamlin never once struck Feyre， but what he did by locking her up in his castle was domestic abuse。 Feyre was also going through some really bad PTSD， and even though Tamlin could relate， they never talked about what happened Under the Mountain。 Luckily， Rhysand was there to help Feyre work out her feelings， and she in tu Wow。 Just wow。 I love how Sarah J。 Maas writes about difficult life aspects。 The two aspects that really spoke to me was the mental health aspect and the domestic abuse aspect。 Tamlin never once struck Feyre， but what he did by locking her up in his castle was domestic abuse。 Feyre was also going through some really bad PTSD， and even though Tamlin could relate， they never talked about what happened Under the Mountain。 Luckily， Rhysand was there to help Feyre work out her feelings， and she in turn was able to help Rhysand。At the end when all of the was in Hybern， I was really worried about how it was all going to end。 I was satisfied with the ending though， and look forward to reading A Court of Wings and Ruin。 。。。more

All I will say about this book is that it was gonna be a 4am finish-in-one-sitting book， but my e-reader heartbreakingly died at 2am so I had to finish it the second day。There are some cliches and tropes in here I felt a bit meh about， but I was again impressed with foreshadowing from past books you don’t know is foreshadowing until it is smashed in your face。 Bravo。
